Catatan Harian si Pemimpi

I know I should be telling some story here, story about anything, especially about my new life here in this quietly inspirational and academically conducive city. But well, since my classes have started and I gotta do lots of things, read lots of novels, translate lots of words every week, I should condition my self then. And the way to condition my self is ....? Alright, you're right brother (this time I'm seeing a man giving an answer ): doing anything in English, including making blog posts. Yeah, I just realize that it's quite hard for us non-native speakers to write in English, I know, I'm there , but you know... I don't wanna lose the joy of blogging, see? Nah, I would ask your permission to write my blogposts in English, excellency, yeah, just to relieve my burden okay.

As for Kompas, sorry Ma'am and Sir editors, I can't promise you anything. I'm not sure I can write reviews or essays or short stories in Indonesian for you. Sorry, terribly sorry for the inconvenience, hehehe...

And for you happy readers (ooops, do I have happy readers? Or are the "happy readers" only me and someone I see in the mirror? hmm...), I hope you don't mind if I write in English, and Indonesian occasionally.

Well, I guess that's all. I think I'm ready to continue working on my other stuffs. Btw, there's a beautiful view out there (ehem-ehem, I'm in Mullins Library of University of Arkanss, second floor, on the north wing, right beside a round-shaped window panes). Oooh so beautiful, I see people passing by, some walking some cycling some walking their dogs. Hmm... I wonder how they can love dogs sooooo much, while I'm afraid of them sooooo much!

Okay then, gotta go, I should get some stuffs taken care of (mostly reading novels, hehehe... dyou ever wish to study in a place where you just have to read novels and appreciate them, interpret them, study them minutely and closely? Hmm... that's all I'm doing these days. ). Have a good day, see you again tomorrow. Btw, I think I gotta tell you all about something tomorrow, something that I'm sure will beguile you sooooo much! Ah... actually I wanna keep it secret. But, man!, I can't keep it secret any longer: CLOSE READING. I've been listening to people talking about close reading this and close reading that in Indonesia, and finally I experience myself the path of close reading, hehehe... So, still interested?
